Seeking Reuse Commons South Businesses
Reuse Commons South is beginning to take shape. We’re exploring a location somewhere south of downtown Seattle—from SODO to Georgetown, Columbia City, or Rainier Beach—with a goal of opening in the next 2 years.
The current vision for Reuse Commons South is a light industry building with 3–5 anchor organizations like the Furniture Repair Bank and Seattle Recreative (confirmed), flexible community space for classes and events, and a lively Saturday Reuse & Repair Market featuring local businesses offering resale and repair for items such as cell phones, clothing, knives, musical instruments, sports equipment, home appliances, furniture, and more. All businesses will have access to shared infrastructure such as the building, bathrooms, loading docks, utilites etc.
